Actiontec Mega Plug AV Powerline Gaming Kit (200mbps) Review

Being an ECA chapter president (long island, to be exact) I was lucky enough to be able to test out an amazing product from Actiontec – the Powerline Gaming Kit. The idea of the kit is to have one of the supplied adapters act as an access point, while the other acts as a wireless card, if you will. In my time using the devices, I had a lag free fighting experience, free of any hiccups. So lets get to the scrubs of the Powerline Gaming Kit.

Life

So, I spilled my heart out to my brother today, and, after tears flooded my face, I also found a stray dog who’d obviously been abandoned for months – matted hair, etc.

I picked him up and brought him to the 24 hour vet – i’m currently hiding him from the mom figure until the AM at which point I can get him checked out and groomed to beauty ^^. We both hit rock bottom this week and it seems like we found each other to start off on a great foot! God works in mysterious but glorious ways.

Street Fighter: Legend of Chun Li Updates and Thoughts

So I’ve done some reading, and I’ve found out there will be no Ken and Ryu, none of that old street fighter goodness. They are very strict about seperating the movie from the game, and setting a foundation for characters, or so I’ve been told. It’s safe to say they dabble in Bison(Vega) and Chun Li(Obviously) but that’s about the only thing they get into. We’ve got some talent from smallville on set, but you’ve got to remember that was mainstream television oohs and aahs – can this person really make a movie? Probably not. Llana cannot kick ass. It would have been smart to maybe start with Ken and Ryu’s history and foundation, with some Gouken and young Gouki – but they didn’t really call on any true aficionados to make the film. Lets just hope they don’t screw it up!

• Additionally, we are announcing the DLC alternate costume expansion packs for Street Fighter IV to customize your fighters. Each DLC pack offers an alternate costume for you favorite Street Fighter IV character. Street Fighter IV PSN/XBL Gamertag Posting / Thoughts

You can definitely feel the effects of a whiffed ultra by Sagat(ouch) but it’s even better when you counter with the Target > Srk > FADC > EX SRK > Laugh.

If you don’t know what that means, go kill yourself.

There are a couple of issues pending about SFIV as the Shoryuken.com forums outline nicely. Things that I have been bothered by but have yet to complain about to Capcom because of the amazing product they have released. One of those happens to be the DISCONNECTS. OUCH. Don’t you hate when you know you beat someone who has a lot more BP then you, but they disconnect right before the end of the match? Quite annoying. Not only should they be penalized, but that should go down on their record! like in Starcraft, the best RTS ever made (don’t you love my random opinion inserts?).

Now let me give you the scrubs on myself. I use Ken, mainly because my old main (sagat) is fairly cheap unless you are playing someone who is 10k, World Warrior, or Akuma spamming with fireball delux`. I like Kens WIDE array of FADC combos, and this air tatsu crossup capabilities. Plus he can stick out that wonderful poke (F+MK) and then you can straight KARA that bitch into a throw. Anyways, I want you guys to leave your gamertags/PSN ID’s so we can get a community of decent to advanced players going. This should make for an interesting competitive slaughter fest.
